1. Who we are

WARDROBE AI ("we", "the app") is an AI-powered personal styling service. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. Contact: support@wardrobeai.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — email, name, username, password (stored as a secure hash).
  • Profile data you choose to provide — body measurements, sizes, style, color and brand preferences, budget, location (city/country) for weather-based suggestions.
  • Photos — profile photos and clothing photos you upload, plus AI-generated try-on images. Stored with our media provider (Cloudinary).
  • Wardrobe & activity data — clothing items, outfits, wishlists, calendar entries, chat messages with the AI stylist.
  • Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers. We keep only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the service: organizing your wardrobe, generating outfits and try-on images, personalized recommendations.
  • AI processing — your photos and wardrobe data are sent to our AI providers (Anthropic for styling intelligence, FASHN for virtual try-on) solely to generate results for you. They are not used to train their models.
  • Weather-based suggestions use your city with OpenWeather.
  • Transactional emails (subscription confirmations) via SendGrid.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising.

4. Administrator access to uploaded photos

Platform administrators may view photos you upload, including body and face photos, exclusively for content moderation and user support. You can delete individual photos or your account at any time.

5. Push notifications and device identifier

The app collects a device identifier (FCM token) solely to deliver push notifications. The token is deleted when you sign out. You can turn notifications off at any time in Profile → Settings.

6. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)), with your consent for optional features like photos and location (Art. 6(1)(a)), and for our legitimate interest in securing and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).

7. Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account: this permanently removes your profile, photos, wardrobe, outfits and cancels any active subscription. Payment records may be retained where required by tax law.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export or erasure of your data at any time at support@wardrobeai.com. EU users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

9. Processors we use

Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (media storage), Anthropic (AI styling), FASHN (virtual try-on), SendGrid (email), OpenWeather (weather). Each processes data under their own privacy terms and our instructions.

10. Children

WARDROBE AI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We will notify you of material changes to this policy in the app or by email.
